Why do trees in Citrus County need work so often?

We do not quote over the phone, because tree pricing is driven by things you cannot describe accurately from memory:

- Whether a truck can get within reach of the trunk
- What is directly beneath the limbs
- How the tree is put together at its unions
Height on its own tells you very little. A sixty-foot tree with a single straight stem and an open drop zone is a quick job, while a forty-foot tree with a split fork, a pool cage on one side and the service drop on the other has to come down piece by piece and will take most of a day.
You get a number before anyone touches the tree, and that number is what you pay. If something genuinely unforeseen turns up once we are into the job, such as decay far worse than the outside suggested or a buried line nobody knew about, we stop and talk to you rather than carrying on and adding it to the invoice.
If there are two or three trees you have been thinking about, have them all looked at in one visit. Most of the cost in tree work is getting a crew and equipment to the property and set up, so dealing with trees one at a time, as each becomes urgent, means paying that setup over and over.
